FAQ

ARE THERE EARLY REGISTRATION DISCOUNTS?

We do offer discounts for early registration. Please contact us or visit the Payment & Refund Policy page for more information.

 

DO I HAVE TO PAY REGISTRATION FEES FOR EVERY CHILD AND EVERY WEEK?

No; the $50 registration fee is a one-time fee. If you register multiple children or for multiple weeks, you will only pay the $50 fee once. Please contact us​ or visit the Payment & Refund Policy page for more information.

 

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT NORTH BOULDER PARK EACH DAY?

  • Always sign in first at the check-in tables. Clipboard lines are separated alphabetically.

  • On Mondays, please introduce your child to one of the nearby Welcoming Staff members who will tell you and your camper more about what to expect.

  • Our staff offers play activities every morning and afternoon within a supervised Circle of Safety.

  • Our staff and busses arrive at 7:45 each morning.

  • Have your child at the park no later than 8:10 am.

  • Every child must be signed in and out!

  • Our staff and busses arrive at 4:30 each afternoon.

  • We offer supervision until 5:15 pm.

  • Please do not park on the south side of Dellwood Ave. bordering the park—this area MUST be left open for our busses!

WHAT SHOULD CAMPERS BRING?

ALL CAMPERS 

Every day, all campers (Adventure & Focus campers + CITs) need to bring or wear:

  • Long pants

  • Socks and shoes (no sandals, please)

  • A light jacket or sweatshirt (no matter how hot it is in Boulder)

  • Water bottle

  • Personal sunscreen

  • Lunch and other snacks, if desired.

Day packs help campers keep their things together and are highly recommended. Please label everything with your child’s name!

 

HORSE FOCUS CAMPERS

Every day, Horse Focus campers need to bring or wear:

  • Everything on the All Campers list above 

  • A rain jacket and pants (not a poncho-they can scare the horses)

  • A hands-free water bottle/pack that attaches around the waist or is worn on the back (e.g., Camelbak backpack)

  • Long pants and long socks

If you have a helmet or boots that you would like to use, please label them with camper’s name to keep in the barn for the week.

 

MOUNTAINBOARD FOCUS CAMPERS

Every day, Mountainboard Focus campers need to bring or wear:

  • Everything on the All Campers list above 

  • Long pants

  • Shoes that lace

If you have a board and safety gear (helmet and pads) that you would like to use, please label them with camper’s name to keep in the barn for the week.

WATER FOCUS CAMPERS

Every day, Mountainboard Focus campers need to bring:

  • Everything on the All Campers list above 

  • Bathing suit

  • Towel

OVERNIGHTS & CAMPOUTS

For both Wednesday campouts & Thursday overnights, campers should bring:

  • Daily backpack with lunch for Wednesday (campout) or Thursday (overnight)

  • A separate overnight bag (may not be unpacked until after dinner; daily essentials go in daily backpack)

    • In overnight bag:

      • a very warm sleeping bag or bedding

      • pillow

      • change of clothes for next camp day

      • toothbrush & personal articles

      • warm clothes for sleeping
