Summer Company Picnics
SEASON: Saturdays Late June through Mid-August
Take your work team and their families on a picnic day in the mountains that they will never forget, where adults get to be kids again and where the kids are actually entertained. We take the guesswork and planning off of your plate by offering a day filled with fun activities and a hearty barbaque picnic meal. All you have to do is pick a date and send us a headcount.
Our all-inclusive Summer Company Picnic Package includes a full day of guided horseback riding, mountainboarding, archery, organized field games, disc golf, and especially (but not only) for children - crafts, face-painting, and barnyard animal petting tours.
Team-Building
for Corporate, School, or Musical Groups and Teams
SEASON: Daily Mid-June through Mid-October
Our specially designed Mountain Challenge Day on the low ropes course enhances teamwork and awareness of individual value. Your team will experience group support, connection with others, positive bonds of working relationships, community, and FUN!
Team-building is an opportunity to have meaningful fun while exploring outside the usual work, school, or team environment. Our experiential facilitators are professionals in learning theory and methodology as well as group dynamics. Choose from three to six hours working through a progression of problem-solving initiatives and low ropes challenges in the trees. Team-building can be augmented with meals and transportation or be a part of a Residential or Day Retreat. For more information or to request a quote please contact Lynn@coloradomountainranch.com
Overnight Retreats
for University Students and Other Groups
SEASON: Mid-August through September
Rustic mountain accommodations may be reserved for groups of 40-100 people. Enjoy a true mountain getaway in our dormitory-style bunkhouse cabins with wood-fired stoves. The cabins were built between 1920 and 1950, each with its own unique character.
All events include use of the Lodge, basketball and volleyball courts, horseshoe pit, and picnic tables. Your group will also be able to visit the barn area to meet horses and small farm animals. Just a few steps up the path from the Lodge, the forest opens to our amphitheater with a view of the snowy ridges and Longs Peak, a perfect setting for fresh-air gatherings and ceremonies. There are also hiking trails out from the Lodge that your group can explore.
