Thursday Undernights

​Available to rising 1st-3rd Graders who are enrolled in camp each week.

Weekly themes for the after-dinner activity vary week to week and will be communicated earlier in the week. Campers are encouraged to make or bring costumes, props, or musical instruments. They can also work on these early in the week at the Creative Cabin.

Includes an extra choice of the instructed camp activities before dinner.

The overnight also includes great camp food! We provide dinner for your camper.

The Undernight concludes at 8:45PM, and parents will need to pick up their child from the Ranch in Gold Hill at that time.

The Overnight Fee is $100.

UNDERNIGHT DETAILS
Younger campers can now take part in the legendary Thursday Overnight fun, without spending the night away from home. After the regular Thursday camp day ends, campers will enjoy an extended choice activity, followed by a kid friendly camp dinner in the Lodge dining room and our special themed overnight activity. This experience gives younger campers the chance to “stay late” at camp without the apprehension of an overnight stay, while also offering parents and families a fun evening out. Consider dinner at the famous Gold Hill Inn or a more laid-back visit to the Gold Hill General Store.

UNDERNIGHT DINNER
Dinner is provided, and we are happy to accommodate vegetarians with prior notice. If your child has food allergies or other dietary restrictions, please send appropriate alternative food for your camper.
SPECIAL EVENTS
The after dinner special event is a time for kids to dress up and get in character. The theme of the is announced early in each week to give campers time to prepare. Some exciting ones are: Capture-the-flag, Disney Characters, Pirates and Ninjas, Camp Olympics, Super Heroes, Harry Potter, Predator v. Prey, Clue the Game, Happy Birthday America, Around the World ... Cast your vote, we'll make it happen!
REGISTRATION
Early registration is not necessary. Each enrolled week that your eligible camper (grades 1-3), you will receive specific information and a registration form for that week’s Thursday Undernight. To register, please complete and submit the special overnight registration form. Just send your child with their Undernight things and check-in as usual at the Calvary Bible Church, west parking lot.

HOW TO PAY
Please log into your CMR Parent Portal to pay with your credit or debit card, or choose to pay directly from your bank account as an ACH payment. Otherwise, if your camper stays for the Undernight, the preferred method of payment on your account will automatically be charged on Thursday or Friday.

WHAT TO BRING ON THURSDAY MORNING
For those staying for the Undernight, they only need their regular day pack with lunch. However, it is encouraged that they bring a costume or prop for the special event and an extra layer as the evenings can be cooler.

THURSDAY EVENING PICK-UP
Parents should plan to arrive promptly at 8:45PM for pick-up.

Campers will be waiting to be signed out at the basketball court, located at the front entrance. Please park in the parking lot directly across from the front entrance.

FRIDAY MORNING ARRIVAL
On Friday, as usual, bring your camper to the camp bus for morning transport up the mountain. Campers should arrive with their packed lunch and day pack.​​
